I independently managed all aspects of the business, from generating invoices and managing accounts receivable to interacting with clients using excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. I produced, from concept to implementation, quarterly catalogs highlighting the company's clothing line. I managed the design of seasonal store signage and other promotional materials. I created design concepts for e-mail blasts and the company's website.

Using Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, I produced a monthly magazine distributed to students of the financial education company. I was responsible for procuring pictures for articles and implemented a design that fit each article and also worked within the magazine's overall design concept.

Web Designer and Developer

2009 - 2013

As the only Web Designer and Developer, I am responsible for the creation and maintenance of 40+ grocery store websites. I am currently developing a method to service 250+ websites through a common hub. I use PHP, Javascript (jQuery Library), HTML, and CSS3 during the creation process in order to make a wide variety of websites. I also inherited sites that are built on proprietary CMS systems, as well as sites built in WordPress and Concrete5. As a graphic designer, I became a trainer within one year of working for Associated Food Stores. Using Applescript, I developed more than 25 scripts that automate the process of designing grocery ads. These scripts save more than 7 hours per week for each designer across a team of 11 designers (as I have developed and trained our team on the scripts, overtime for our department has decreased from 110 hours down to 35 hours).
